Steve Messinetti
Steve Messinetti has over 20 years of experience working with Habitat for Humanity. Prior to becoming President and CEO of the local affiliate, he worked for Habitat for Humanity International. He is currently board president of Habitat for Humanity of Oregon and a PDC appointed member of the Lents Urban Renewal Advisory Council. In 2009, Steve was named one of the Portland Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.

The Le/Hoang Family
Tan Ngoc and Lam Ha have a dream for their young family. Even though their son is only two years old and their daughter only five months, they have big plans for their future.
They want to raise their children in a stable home where they will be able to attend the same schools year after year and because of Habitat, the Le/Hoang’s family dream is now going to be a reality. Tan works full time as a dental technician and their current rent is over 40% of their monthly income. Their substandard apartment is made worse by an unresponsive landlord. They are thrilled that they will buy a home that is safe, and in working order, while still being affordable.
