Habitat Homeowner Exhibits Works of Art in Portland

Carrie Jossy-Christian moved into her Habitat home in north Portland in the fall of 2007. Since then, the stability of owning a home has allowed her and her family to focus on things that are important to them. By trade, Carrie is a commercial painter, but her love is painting on canvas and creating works of art. Rooted in a supportive and artistic community, Carrie has found herself ready to present a collection of paintings in the Portland area.
Alers, HelsinkiCarries’s work will be on display and open to the public starting Sunday, May 20, through the month of June at Westminster Presbyterian Church, a long-time partner of Habitat for Humanity. Her work is available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds graciously benefiting Habitat.
