Jeremy wants to stay.

Jeremy wants
to stay.

Portland Mayor Charlie Hales recently announced a housing state of emergency in Portland, as too many families can no longer afford to live here. These are hardworking families like Jeremy’s, whose mom and dad are both employed full time as a bus driver and caretaker respectively, yet still cannot afford the rising rent in the southeast Portland neighborhood they have called home for years.

Today, you can give Jeremy and his family the opportunity to stay. With your gift to Habitat you are helping local families build and then buy decent, affordable Habitat homes, so they are able to grow and thrive without being worried about moving again and again, chasing affordable rent.

And today, your donation will be doubled thanks to a matching gift from Wells Fargo!

Please consider a donation to Habitat, and give Jeremy the opportunity to stay.

Habitat's program offers families an affordable way to build equity: offering a 0%-interest mortgage and working with families as they help build their own homes.

87.1% of every dollar donated goes into Habitat's "Revolving Fund", where our partner families make mortgage payments that continue the cycle and account for 21% of Habitat’s annual revenue.
