Volunteer Shout Out
- Phone-a-thon Volunteers are needed at the Habitat office for various shifts on February 1, 2 and 4. Volunteers will be given a short tutorial on Habitat for Humanity and an easy script to follow while on the phone. Volunteers will be reaching out to Habitat donors and asking them to consider making an additional donation to the A World of Hope; It Starts at Home fundraising campaign. Clear English is a must as well as good phone skills and organization. Please contact Jennifer Perkins at jennifer@habitatportlandmetro.org or 503.287.9529 x12.
Please join us to make the dream of homeownership a reality for deserving families in the Portland/Metro East area. Volunteer opportunities take place on and off the construction site, and are available for individuals, corporate groups, faith groups, student and youth groups, and AmeriCorps members.

Volunteering Beyond Construction

Volunteer Spotlight: Rob Maldonado and Jessica Pacini
Long time volunteers, Rob Maldonado and Jessica Pacini, are a match made on site, literally! Both Rob and Jessica have been volunteering to help build homes with Habitat since early 2010 and have been a couple since that same summer.
