Victoria Cottages

This eight-home project in Rockwood is nearing completion. Volunteers in May can expect to work on interior finish work, painting and landscaping.

N Michigan

This duplex in north Portland is fully framed and dried-in. Volunteers in May can expect to work on installing house wrap, siding, trim and blocking. These homes are being built in partnership with Portland YouthBuilders.

SE 171st & Division

Construction of the first fifteen units for this 45-home project is underway. Volunteers in May can expect to work on site development and framing. This site will be built over the two years and will be the largest Habitat build in Oregon!

Caring Through Construction

Become a Habitat Site Host

Site hosts play a crucial role at the construction site by greeting and welcoming volunteers, organizing waivers, making coffee and being the smiling face of Habitat. Site hosts are needed at all sites Wednesday – Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Speakers Bureau Seeking Members

The Speakers Bureau is recruiting new members! If you have a passion for Habitat and love to speak in front of large crowds, consider the Speakers Bureau! Speakers conduct New Volunteer Orientations, attend community outreach events, and also assist with special projects at our affiliate.

ReStore Volunteers

Did you know that our Habitat for Humanity ReStore diverts 1,000 tons of building materials from landfills by reselling them at discount prices at our three locations in Portland, Vancouver and Beaverton? Or, that when you shop at the ReStore all the proceeds benefit three local Habitat affiliates?

The ReStore depends on volunteers to do a variety of jobs that keep the stores running smoothly. They need truck drivers, office assistants, customer service assistants, receiving assistants, stockers and cleaners.

Immediate ReStore Need:
The Habitat ReStore currently needs a warehouse assistant to greet customers and donors and assist staff members with the intake, sorting, organizing and stocking of new donations. Create product displays, signs and help with various projects around the store. If you are interested, please contact Malia Tam Sing at malia@pdxrestore.org.
