Washington County ReStore Makes Great Progress Towards Grand Opening

Thanks to hardworking volunteers, the inside of the new Washington County ReStore is painted and the floor is refinished. Volunteers and staff are now working on assembling shelving units, installing pallet racking and building a cashier stand. The ReStore could use your help! No special skills required.
The new ReStore is also looking for assistance with driving a box truck to pick up donations, helping with volunteer outreach and participating in a variety of other special projects.
If you would like to volunteer with daily operations once the store is open, ReStore staff hope to establish a solid crew of volunteer cashiers and receiving crew members by early April. It’s not too early to make your interest known!
Sign up online at pdxrestore.org to volunteer or contact the Washington County Restore Volunteer Coordinator, Colleen O’Toole, at colleen@pdxrestore.org or at 503.906.3823.
If you have items to donate, the Washington County ReStore location will begin accepting donations from the public on Saturdays beginning in March. Donation collection dates will be posted on the ReStore website,  Twitter and on our Facebook page.
