An Invitation From Our Co-Chairs

It’s about a home for a hardworking family.

Mostly, it’s about some wonderful kids—and the values we plant with them as they grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

Habitat is the contemporary version of the old Oregon “barn raising” that brought together diverse members of the community to accomplish what no one could do alone.

Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East is Oregon’s premier volunteer organization. Annually it brings together thousands of people and hundreds of organizations.

With this campaign, we’ll build 30 homes each year—providing 30 families with hope, security and the promise that their kids will be limited only by their dreams.

We hope you’ll decide to join us to make the A World of Hope: It Starts at Home campaign a success. Help for a day, help build a house or help foster a whole generation of new Oregon “barn raisers”.
