We are excited to announce the partnership between Habitat for Humanity International and Subaru’s “Share The Love” Event.  Habitat has been selected as a nonprofit partner for the third consecutive year. Subaru of America, Inc. designed the program to give back to the community through leading social organizations.

The Subaru “Share The Love” Event will take place from November 20, 2010 – January 3, 2011.  Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to one of five charities designated by the car buyer with a minimum guaranteed donation of $250,000 per charity, up to $5 million total.

Since Subaru launched the “Share The Love” Event in 2008, Habitat for Humanity International has received more than $2 million to support its mission of providing safe, decent and affordable shelter throughout the world.  In 2009, Subaru’s donation assisted Habitat in providing housing solutions to an estimated 6,000 American families.

In addition to Habitat, the 2010 “Share The Love” Event customer’s choice of charities will include The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Meals on Wheels Association of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Ocean Conservancy.

Thanks, Subaru! Find program details and a listing of participating Portland Metro area dealers at
